Safety…Safety…Safety at Moxee

Today was our first Evacuation drill at Moxee Elementary.  This year we are partnering up with a number of community services to help teach our students  and staff safety skills and protocols.  This year Chief Burkett from the Moxee Police Department came and worked with our staff regarding safety tips and strategies.  Today the Fire Department came and helped run our Fire/ Evacuation Drill!  

We also helped one of our very own teachers full fill one of her Bucket List wishes…Yolonda Gonzalez got to pull the alarm.
