On October 25, 2017, students at Moxee Elementary celebrated Unity Day, which is a day that stands for “inclusion and acceptance for everyone.” Unity Day takes place in accordance with National Bullying Awareness Day. To prepare, Moxee Elementary Leadership students made signs and announcements throughout the days leading up to Unity Day and asked their peers to wear orange in support of the cause. We are proud of our young Mustangs for taking steps to ensuring that every student, in every classroom, feels safe and welcome every day!
