Principal's Message

Spring has sprung and we are loving it here at Moxee Elementary. During the month of May, our 3rd - 5th grade students are showing the state of Washington what they know! By participating in Washington's Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA), our students are able to apply their knowledge and skills to reading, writing, listening, math, and science. Our teachers carefully plan their lessons based on the Washington State Learning Standards, ensuring a close alignment with the SBA. The results of the SBA are then used by staff to identify what areas of instruction need to be beefed up and which students need more instruction in these key content areas. From the day our students enter kindergarten, we are preparing them for graduation and the promise of a bright future.
