Principal's Message

The cold weather has finally arrived. Throughout the months of inclement weather, we still want our children outside for recesses, jumping, running, and enjoying being a kid! Please make sure you send them to school dressed for the current weather. In extremely cold weather, we determine recess by the "real feel" temperature and keep them indoor if it is too cold.
If your child is spending lots of time indoor this winter, might I suggest that they spend time practicing their math facts or reading before being given "screen time"? Did you know research shows that children with higher reading and math skills end up having higher incomes, better housing and more professional roles in adulthood? So finish that math homework and read like crazy!
