Attention East Valley Community Members - 

As our East Valley High Modernization and Expansion Project progresses to the roofing stage next week, you may notice an unappealing odor. This odor is the result of the heating of the tar used in the roofing process. Roofing will begin with the new fitness and wrestling facility, located on the north side of the existing high school building, and then continue for the foreseeable future as they begin work on the new addition thereafter. Please do not be alarmed by the odor; the fumes are non-hazardous and environmentally friendly.
